I have always found myself drawn into color. There is something there I find myself needing to explore. Be it deep, rich, and vibrant. Or subtle and barely noticeable as it hints to what influences a certain shade. But creating art is not a static experience. So over time while working with color, a desire to add a new dimension in my paintings grew. This new passion, texture, emerge. Now, I have come to believe that paintings are not just a visual treat, but can call on another sense too, touch.

As I continue to grow as an artist, I continue to explore other mediums. Photography, particular what is known as Lomography (or analogue photography), has become another addition to my palette for creation. I currently shoot with a Diana F+ toy camera. I shoot using medium format 120 film. Due to the cheap plastic lens and the long exposure time needed to capture images on the film, I feel I don't truly take a picture as discover one when I develop the roll.
