From my hand, to a brush, to a color, to the mystery of an abstract vision: art is that of the unknown; known only to the viewers eye; taught only by the artists soul.

My art has always come to me as an outlet. I find peace of mind in creativity, yet my most authentic pieces have come to me in an emotional explosion, during a time of contemplation or even difficulty. The abstraction in my artwork speaks to this. I often do not think, but only paint. Not only is my art therapeutic for myself, but by looking at my work from different angles, anyone can interpret the art in a way that may give them a new perspective on their lives. Or at least just a single thought…

I also design jewelry, work as a fashion consultant and am represented by Seattle Models Guild. Having studied anthropology at Smith College, I was inspired to travel to Lilongwe, Malawi where I taught AIDS awareness and environmental issues in rural villages for a summer. My travels have always been a great inspiration for my artwork. I previously lived in Rome, Italy for a year where art history began to ignite my passion for creativity.
